The legendary Pratap Public Library- the first of its kind in Karnal, is older than Pratap Public School. In fact the genesis of the school can be traced to the phenomenal success of Pratap Public Library. The Public library boasts of a whopping collection of over 65,000 books on various subjects including reference books and encyclopedias.

In addition to this, each school has a well stocked independent library to inculcate the habit of reading among the pupils from a tender age. The library also subscribes to a number of dailies, magazines and journals. The school also has a system of class room library for classes I to X.
